Greetings! My name is Jermaine Nesbitt. I am the proud father of two children: my daughter, Jordyn (20), and my son, Jermaine Jr. (9). I am an Evanston native who grew up in South Evanston, and I believe Evanston is truly a unique community.

I enjoy giving back through my involvement with The Chessmen Club of the North Shore, Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge #28, Northshore Consistory #91, and the United Supreme Council, Prince Hall Affiliation, Northern Jurisdiction, U.S.A., Inc. Additionally, I serve as an assistant coach with the Fellowship of Afro-American Men (F.A.A.M.) Basketball League, which supports middle school-aged boys and girls in Evanston.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with an emphasis in Finance from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I currently serve as an Assistant Vice President and Relationship Specialist with Capital Group Private Client Services, where I partner with Private Wealth Advisors to provide financial solutions to high-net-worth clients. Prior to joining Capital Group, I spent more than 20 years in a similar role with J.P. Morgan Private Bank.

As Muhammad Ali once said, “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on Earth.” I strive to live by that principle through my commitment to serving my community and supporting the next generation.
